My name is Jackie Knowles, I am a mother of two girls and a Registered Nurse. I fell in love with this amazing instrument called ukulele 8 years ago and I'm still learning. Words cannot express the challenges, the laughs and the people I have met since playing this awesome instrument. It has been life changing for me and I'm betting everyone else who I have drawn into my uke fun web will also relate.
I am loving being in a ukulele band and having such a ball constantly learning this exciting little instrument. Music is magic. So it is because of my continuing love for ukulele and picturesque home of Te Anau that I have decided to do it all again and gather more like minded people together to bring our town alive with TUF24. It is my dream for everyone to come back and enjoy all that Te Anau has to offer. So we have planned the festival with this in mind. I want you to soak up uke vibes in the paradise of Fiordland, reunite with old friends and make new friends. Challenge yourself, there is something for everyone. Make this a trip of a life time in October to Te Anau, I promise you will never be the same! |
